Er verfügt über akademische Abschlüsse im Bereich Angewandte Linguistik. Von 2001 bis 2005 war er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Medien und Kommunikation) an der Universität Innsbruck tätig; von 2005 bis 2011 arbeitete er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Onomastik und Textanalyse) an der Österreichischen Akademie der Wissenschaften in Wien.

Neben seiner akademischen Tätigkeit erwarb er Qualifikationen als systemischer Coach sowie als Sozialberater und absolvierte von 2004 bis 2006 eine Ausbildung in systemischer Aufstellungsarbeit.

Seit 2014 ist er am Institut FBI tätig, wo er als Forscher mit den Schwerpunkten Linguistik und Sozialwissenschaften arbeitet. Derzeit ist er als selbständiger Gutachter für Urheberschaftsanalyse (forensische Linguistik, Textanalyse) sowie als Sozialberater (mit Schwerpunkt auf systemischer Aufstellungsarbeit und Trauerbegleitung) tätig; zudem leitete er von 1996 bis 2018 Gruppen als Canyoning-Guide im Outdoor-Sportbereich.

He has academic degrees in Applied Linguistics. From 2001 to 2005 he was a scientific assistant (media and communication) at the University of Innsbruck, from 2005 to 2011 he worked as a research assistant (onomastics and text analysis) at the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna.

Besides his academic work he also acquired certificates as systemic coach and social counsellor, and from 2004 to 2006 he successfully completed a training in systemic constellation work. From 1996 to 2018 he also led groups as a canyoning guide in the field of outdoor sports.

Since 2014 he is part of the FBI Centre, involved as a researcher with focus on linguistics and social sciences. Currently he works as a self-employed expert for Authorship Analysis (forensic linguistics, text analysis) and as a social counsellor (with focus on systemic constellation work and the process of grieving).
